Monday Muses - Late As Always
Yes this is late. But they were too.
I was pretty surprised that these crazy clams kept their volume down during our short coffee stop. Conversations before shoots is a must, especially when you're meeting your friends of 6 years. That morning was quite unfortunate actually, it was gloomy and wet, not to mention I managed to scrape my knee after falling down from the tram (pardon ma grandma legz). But bullying these two definitely compensate for their scheduled lateness and the inconvenient start to my morning. Scroll down to see what's up (how paradoxical is that....you're scrolling down to see whats up lol doesn't matter read read friendz)

"I'm not the nicest person because I can be quite mean most of the time. But I do love sharing stories of mine and I do daily reflection of myself (which I believe is one of the cause for my overthinking habit). I think these are actually what makes me grow as a person. I have this belief that our personalities (including mine) are all shaped by our surrounding environment. Like when depressing days come for a visit, I would pretend to be happy, fake my smile, and I'll keep repeating it until it ultimately becomes a habit. Eventually, I'll just get used to all the troubles and be happy about it. True, it won't ever be that easy, but I'll adapt to the situation I'm in and expose the other version of me. In this other me, I have built an empire of my own naive and delusional kingdoms. Don't get the wrong impression, it's actually not that bad, I quite like that other personality of mine. It keeps me all positive and optimistic. And this adaptive quality is what I'd like to portray from the things that I wear. Just like how my personality changes, my style also changes. My biggest inspiration would come from fashion week photographs and seasonal lines from high-end fashion houses. So one day I'd wear clothes that has a more monochromatic color scheme. On another day, I can be very vivid. But I have decided at this new phase of my life, that I will be searching for the style that can best define my identity."

"I was wearing a coat from cotton on, turtleneck from Uniqlo, a pair of black leggings and white shoes that I bought from a local boutique shop at a pop up market. I would say my style is quite simple and I tend to go with mostly dark colours, although I like to play around and be quirky once in a while. I'm a bit shy and I like to play it safe most of the time with my clothes. I can't say this as my personality, but I do try to be well ordered, neat and 'smart'. So my style can be described as my attempt to present myself as those things and for me it's never about the brands, it's not about what you wear but how you wear it. I don't really know the inspirations behind my outfits, I just go with clothes that I like and fit me well.. Sometimes when I try to look like someone else, or follow current fashion trends (which, actually, do become inspirations to some extent) I tend to fail miserably, as in it just doesn't really fit me, hence just playing it safe with what I know will look good on me!
